Francesca Baker

Francesca Baker

Francesca Baker’s and experience are varied - covering copywriting, journalism, marketing, and PR - but always centred around communication and creating a connection. Ultimately, she works with messages - and creating the right messages to resonate with an audience. She has been working in marketing for over fifteen years, and has been a full time freelance communications consultant for the last five. She is an NCTJ trained journalist, so knows how to tell a good story that resonates with the reader, from idea through to research and publication. She is familiar with analytics and SEO and knows how to use them in the full marketing mix. She has a background in research and insight so put planning and measurement at the centre of communications strategies, optimising for success. Words are her thing, but she has been known to geek out over a spreadsheet and she's a whizz at analysing data for a good story. With lived experience of anorexia nervosa she has written extensively on mental health, and is passionate about removing social barriers to accessing high quality support. She writes for Wysa and delivers UK public relations through her agency And So She Thinks
