Tania, M.A.
Tania G is a therapist at Wysa. She has a master’s in Applied Psychology, with a specialisation in Clinical Psychology. She has over five years of experience facilitating therapy sessions for individuals with mental, emotional and social concerns. She has been involved with schools as a counsellor, working with children, adolescents, and their stakeholders to reimagine and integrate mental health interventions in the education sector.
She uses a trauma-informed approach, and creative mediums like visual arts, drama, movement, and stories in her work with groups and individuals of all ages. She is a firm believer in preventive mental health practices. Her orientation in therapy lies in finding protective factors in an individual's life and co-creating tools/resources to foster resilience and mitigate the harmful effects of neglect, abuse, or any kind of adversity or concern.
She has also been holding spaces for healing, training and skill-building for groups from diverse economical backgrounds as a facilitator. She works on areas such as adversity, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships issues, body image-related concerns, loneliness, emotional distress, life-skills-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, depression, grief, anxiety, and abuse (physical, sexual, verbal and emotional).
