Nihal Anabell is a Senior Therapist at Wysa. He got his master’s degree in psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and was awarded the Assistant Professorship for Psychology in 2018. Starting his career in NGOs and school settings, Nihal has dipped his fingers in myriad professional roles as a counsellor, teacher-educator, professional development trainer and facilitator before finding his niche in digital mental health at Wysa. When he takes off his therapist hat, he can often be found frolicking the forests of Auroville or catering to horses. Upon realising that experiential wisdom and holistic personal growth are the best forms of training for a mental health practitioner, Nihal has invested his time in volunteering in a forest community, towards physical fitness, songwriting, books, and wholesome relationships.
